What does installation involve?

Required for 50A wall-mount charger

Licensed electrician

Required by Ontario Electrical Code

Typical cost: $500-1,500

Depends on panel location and wiring distance

ESA inspection may be required

Electrical Safety Authority permit in some areas

Do not need an electrician?

Our Portable EV Charger 40A plugs into any existing NEMA 14-50 outlet (same as a dryer). No electrician, no installation, no permits. Just plug in and charge.
